Intro
LLAMA Play Studio is a play based art studio for infants, children and adults.
We believe the act of creating brings out oneˇs playful nature. LLAMA’s clear philosophy and vision is to continue fostering that joy in children and bring child-like wonder back to adults.
At LLAMA, young artist will be introduced to various materials, not only art supplies but also everyday objects. They will be encouraged and guided to use their infinite imagination to turn mixed media into magical creations.
As for the grown up artists, LLAMA invites them to find one’s inner child by exploring their creative self though various hands on art projects in the gatherings of like minded group of individuals.
Founders
We are Lindsey Drell and Leeor Mitchell, the founders of LLAMA Play Studio.
Our love of art and our children gave us a courage to start up our own studio.
Lindsey has worked as a graphic designer, user experience, and user interface designer for the last 20+ years for major networks such as CBS, FOX and A&E. During her time in the corporate sector, she has found a growing passion for early education in hands-on art through her experiences with her two children and their friends at home and by frequently volunteering at their schools.
Leeor was formerly a medical researcher, however her deep connection to arts and music culture has steered her towards more artistic pursuits. She hosts instagram worthy events and parties with clear vision and exquisite taste. Her level-headed personality and immaculate ability to organize and empathy drive approach are what makes her one of the best even planners. She also has been trained in traditional painting at the early age and into adulthood and painting is her passion. Through her experiences as a mother, she enjoys fostering creativity in children, encouraging open-ended exploration and imaginative play.
